Delicate & Gorgeous
The designs of St. Kilda are exactly the kind of jewelry I love: simple, understated, yet sophisticated and lovingly delicate. Seriously, Nora's designs are gorgeous and are well priced, all handmade with love in Brooklyn - can you beat that?!? AND she just opened a shop in Park Slope!

Hot Pink & A Sweet Ride...
Rock 'n Roll Bride featured this wedding a few days ago and well, I am a little bit obsessed. First off, the dress with the pink under layers, so hot. The shoes? Definitely the sweetest pair of mary janes I have ever seen. And then the wedding party driving to the wedding in vintage Vespas!?! Are you kidding me? This wedding is way too cool for school! And the best part - the bride looks super chill and happy! Check out the rest of the photographs by the talented Solaria at Rock 'n Roll Bride.
Have a super awesome weekend - I hope you all have fun plans and get to hang out with your most favorite people in the world!!!

Whimsical Sweetness
One of my favorite toy designers has to be Esther Schulvens, the whimsical and colorful characters she creates embody such fun, loving, quirky personalities! How cute are their little stances?
Fawn and Forest sells a lot of her creations, which also happens to be one of my favorite stores to shop for fun little surprises. This new little world of baby stuff is pretty fun...

Something Old + Something New
I went to an amazing wedding this weekend and both the bride and groom were wearing fantastic vintage pieces from Pureville - had I not known they were from this talented designer I would have thought they were heirlooms handed down from their ancestors. His pieces are the perfect mix of something old and something new, as well as personal. His lockets, which are my favorite, give you the opportunity to add a touch of your own personal past.

Casual & Pregnant
I thought I would share a couple of pictures of me pregnant with you. These were taken back in early February - I was about 7.5 months. Our good friend Anna took them, and lucky for us she shot our wedding as well so she kind of has become our in-house photographer. Just kidding, but she has captured the biggest moments in our lives so it is fun to share them with you. We didn't do any of the naked belly shots, or even couple shots, everything was super casual, taken in our apt. on a Sunday morning. It was nice, Patrick left us to have our girl time and we just sat and chatted and laughed the whole time. I can't stress enough how important it is to be comfortable around your photographer - especially for your wedding! The top pictures were a series of fun digital shots taken in our bedroom in front of our super sweet wood paneling and the bottom picture Anna took in film (which I love, you just can't got wrong with film).
I have to admit - I miss my pregnant belly, I LOVED being pregnant! Of course it has nothing on having our little girl in the world with us, but the belly is lots of fun!

Heart Full of Mom
I have been a huge fan of Hoot and Heart for sometime and what perfect pictures to post going into this beautiful Mother's Day weekend! I think it has rained almost every day the last month in NYC so these pictures have a bit of mood in them which I love.
This weekend is big for Patrick and me - our first wedding anniversary and my first Mother's Day! I can't believe how much has happened in the last year - we have so much to be grateful for! It is crazy how fast time goes - it seems like yesterday that we were in Jamaica.
I hope you all have an amazing Mother's Day weekend, hopefully you can all hug your mom if not send her lots of love! I have been incredibly lucky this last month - my mom was here in Brooklyn helping me transition into motherhood. Her and my Dad rented an apartment down the street and I have to say it was so much fun having them here with us. My Dad took off early (city life wasn't his thing) but my mom just left this last Wednesday. It was sad to say goodbye - but time to be our little family of three. One thing is for sure - moms are the best!!!
Have a beautiful and lovely weekend!!!

Jenna & Jon at The Bride's Guide!
I am sure by now most of you have seen some of the amazing details of Jenna's (lovely and talented calligrapher) wedding on 100 Layer Cake. Well since last week, Jenna and her fiance Jon have been posting their daily pre-wedding adventures and jitters on Martha Stewart's The Bride's Guide. I have known Jenna for almost the last 10 years and their wedding is going to be such a true reflection of the awesome and insanely creative couple that they are. It has been so much fun to hear (and be a part of) all of the little and big details that will be part of their wedding day. I designed their wedding invitations, which was a huge honor for me considering Jenna's talents in the visual department! Their invitation details are under wraps as their wedding will be featured in an issue of MS Weddings sometime next year! Jenna and Jon have truly made their wedding a collaborative effort amongst their friends and family. So check out their daily ventures over at Martha for the next 11 days - it will surely make you smile at the excitement they both share for their wedding day.
